A. dear parent, top food should be given only after completion of 6 months. until then you should exclusively breastfeed. breast milk is most nutritious and complete food for baby till 6 months.

A. Yes, you can start introducing solid foods, such as Cerelac, to your baby around six months of age. Here are some tips for introducing solids: 1. **Start Slowly**: Begin with a small amount, such as one or two teaspoons of Cerelac mixed with breast milk, formula, or water to create a thin consistency. 2. **One Food at a Time**: Introduce one new food at a time and wait for three to five days before introducing another. This helps identify any potential allergies or sensitivities. 3. **Consistency**: Initially, offer pureed or very soft foods. As your baby gets used to eating solids, you can gradually thicken the consistency. 4. **Feeding Position**: Always feed your baby while they are sitting upright, either on your lap or in a high chair, to reduce the risk of choking. 5. **Observe for Reactions**: Watch for any signs of allergies, such as rashes, diarrhea, or vomiting, and consult your pediatrician if you notice any adverse reactions. 6. **Maintain Breastfeeding/Formula**: Continue to breastfeed or give formula as the primary source of nutrition while gradually introducing solids. Here’s how to prepare Cerelac for your baby: 1. **Wash Your Hands**: Ensure your hands and utensils are clean before preparing your baby’s food. 2. **Measure the Cerelac**: Follow the instructions on the Cerelac package to measure the correct amount. 3. **Mix with Liquid**: Use breast milk, formula, or water to mix the Cerelac into a smooth, thin consistency. 4. **Serve Fresh**: Prepare a fresh portion for each feeding and avoid storing leftovers. If you have any concerns or specific questions about introducing solids to your baby, it’s always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician for personalized advice.
