A. Yes, it is recommended to introduce semi solid foods in baby's diet between the age of 5-6 months. Try to start with home cooked foods like Ientil puree, apple, pear and carrot puree, mashed banana, ragi and sooji porridge, mixed vegetable soup, home made cerelac, etc. Limit the intake of ready to eat cerelac as it contains artificial sugar which is not good for still emerging teeth and overall health.
