My baby girl birth weight was 2.465 kg now after four months 13 days now its 5.80kg is this underweight

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 weeks agoA. dear mum, a weight of 5.8 kg is a normal weight for your baby at the age of 4 months considering a birth weight of 2.46 kg. baby should gain at least 500 gms of weight per month.

Please calculate weight on the basis of 500 g gain in a month so your child should have gained 2 1/2 kg by now but your child has gained better than that so it is not that your child is underweight weight it’s in fact better than the expected weight gain that the child should have
