Q.

my baby girl birth weight is .3 kgs 100 grm. now she is 11 months running..her current weight is 7kg 100 grm.. she is very thin and skinny.. Is her weight is upto the mark??? How I can improve her weight..... She is very fussy eater.. she even don't like to eat Banana, curd or any weight gaining food.. what to do..

A. Okay so from my side I would suggest you to start with an iron supplement sometimes kids don’t have proper appetite because of Iron deficiency and a lot of times when you don’t add salt and spices into the food they don’t like to eat it so do both the things as I’m suggesting and give more of proteins to the child if you eat non-veg include egg chicken and fish the yellow can be given now white after 12 months and chicken and fish can also be given

A. I already consulted with my doctor.. he said if she active then no need to worry.. I am also consulted with another pediatric.. the answer was same.. seems like they don't even bother my concern.. according to them . she is perfect.. but I know she is not achive her weight .. which should be triple by her birth weight..

A. Looking at the birth weight of your child your child should be somewhere around 10. 5 kg to 11 kg by the age of 12 months so looking at the current age and the weight gain that your child has had is not in proportion I suggest you kindly consult your doctor regarding that
