Q.

7 to 8 nappies per day but babies weight not increasing in the first month. instead she lost 100 grm . is this normal?

A. you can consult ok. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

A. Hello, the 7 8 nappies are ok. Babies are born with some extra fluid, so it's normal for them to drop a few ounces when they lose that fluid in the first few days of life. A healthy newborn is expected to lose 7% to 10% of the birth weight, but should regain that weight within the first 2 weeks or so after birth.
