My baby finds difficulty in feeding at one side of breast as more milk comes from it and it get stuck in her throat and she starts coughing. Every time it happens and she cries a lot. Please suggest how this can controlled.

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. She is not able to feed properly at one side of the breast as when she start drinking milk she start coughing immediately as milk get stuck in her throat.. Other side she does not find it difficult.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. will improve by burping it is very important that after giving milk to the child you should keep the child in upright position and do burping for 15 to 20 minutes. do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because if the gas is not removed properly it will lead to colic pain and more hiccups
