Q.

my baby fell down on steps.. and her upper lip joint got separated from gum and bleeded.. is it brings any problem.. she fell asleep now.. bleeding stopped after 5 minutes.. we will take her to hospital in the evening but I am little worried to know as I already seen about lip tie.. please reply.. if it cause any problem to her in future.. attached pic for reference

A. it happend because she fell on stairs. not due to dryness or dehydration..

A. you can apply coconut oil or ghee on the lips of the child which will help in decreasing the dryness andz give more fluids in the diet of the child. sometimes it might be associated with nutritional deficiency as well as when the child is licking the lips again and again. also it might bez associated with any allergy which might be causing such reaction so it is advisable that after application of coconut oil or ghee if it is not improving then kindly meet your doctor for examination

A. Hello dear parent! Depends on the severity of the situation. Get your child personally examined by your doctor and seek further treatment. Maintain a good personal hygiene routine and keep Babyhug medicine spoon handy
