my baby fell down from the bed while i was sleeping,she cried and i didn't wake up.we were co sleeping, she is completely okay after the fall, but I don't know why I didn't wake up. thankfully the neighbors called my husband and he showed up. he kept on ringing the door bell and i didn't hear that too. I woke up suddenly to see crying baby on the floor fallen from the bed and entire apartment outside the door asking what was I doing.how to come out of this guilt.

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teghujeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
