ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. dear parent, solid foods should be given only after completion of 6 months, which is from the beginning of 7th month. until then you should exclusively breastfeed. start with 3-4 tsp and then about half katori per meal about 2 to 3 meals per day.
give 1 food for about 3-6 days for baby to accept and to see how baby tolerates it then introduce another new food
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Thatโs probably you are just going little wrong this way maybe nobody has given you this information that when you start giving food to the child it is going to be liquid okay thatโs why we suggest you to go for rice water to begin with then slowly you are going to proceed with semi liquid to semi solid food okay so when you are feeding the food to the child Iโll keep your child into 3/4 declining position into your lap or if you have any kind of a chair to feed your child in and thatโs all I need to proceed also it salt and spice into the food to give it proper flavour which is what is the writing to do and correct at six months only so please stick to that
