A. Hi Mom, you can start with weaning foods once baby completes 6 months. you can slowly introduce foods like porridge, homemade cerelac, clear veg soup, fruit puree, smashed banana, boiled and smashed potato, nuts powder / paste, rice water, dal water etc along with breastfeeding. slowly introduce any food and check if any sign of intolerance, discomfort or allergy. feed on regular intervals, maintain good hygiene and avoid force feeding and overfeeding.

A. Hi dear good morning ya you can. Intilaly simple purees like carrot, potato, banana and simple waters like rice or dal water can be given. These are easy digesting foods for baby. Then second week you can continue with other purees or combination of two fruits veggies, the third week you can give instant homemade rice cereal. Slowly you can add a veggie or fruit to the rice cereal this would give a different taste. One meal a day is enough for six month old baby. With few spoons of water
