Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Usually teething starts around six months. But there can be early teethers as well as late teethers. Some start teething at three months and some babies start teething only after a year. Teething can also be impacted by hereditary reasons. If father or mother were late teethers then so could be the baby too. Babies start taking steps around 9 to 12 months and walk independently around 14 to 15 months. But some perfectly normal babies may be slow in walking and walk independently only around 16 to 18 months. This is common. And u need not worry.Regarding food, Let ur baby explore the food. Let him or her touch and see, don't worry about the mess. Ur baby may try to put it in the mouth and might be willing to feed later. Try with colorful spoons and bowls. Show some interesting toys while u r feeding.
