My baby boy of 1 year 11 months make less eye contact with me plays ball understand kick and throw Actually we never bothered before now as he is 2 years nor speak a single word only do awwww Is it normal

chitraMom of a 6 yr 10 m old boy5 years agoA. Did you kept you child engaged in Screentime a lot? Excessive Screentime and Tv is largely contributing in Social communication delay. Which include Eye contact, responding name and language delay. Stop screentime immediately and give him social and communication exposure. Take him out so that he play and interact with him alot. Make sure you inlove him everyday even with daily chores. If

Hello ma’am If your child is in making proper eye contact or less I contact your child is in speaking a word then also do check if your child is responding to its name or following easy commands or not because if either of the things are not in place and it could be due to delayed age growth or autism so in this case you should be consulting your psychology child psychology is basically and should start with homoeopathic treatment
