Father of a 2 yr 5 m old boy2 years ago
Q.

My baby boy is turning 5 months old and weighs 6 kg. His birth weight was 2.85 kg. Is his current weight a matter of concern? He is completely on mother's feed since birth. The baby is extremely active and has covered all his milestones properly. What should be done to increase his weight?

A. Hello mom babies tend to almost double their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months and then triple by the age of 1 year , they can be now be given weaning foods
