my baby boy is 6months old he is having cold .which medicine is best to give?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remreedy steam inhaulation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. A: You can give Maxtra P drops to babies but only if prescribed by the doctor. The doctor will decide the appropriate medicine on the basis of severity of the condition, child's age or body weight. Do not self-prescribe.
