my baby boy is 5 months old now, can I introduce water to him?? if yes , please suggest the quantity.

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. give only breastmilk till completion of six months. after six months.. you can start water..dal ka Pani or rice water or fruit purees along with breast milk. give Sunbath every morning

shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello mom No not now you should wait for more one month then only start giving water to your baby. What is your baby turned six months old and you can start giving solids and water to your baby till the time baby should be totally on mother’s milk and if mother’s milk is not sufficient then you can start giving formula milk
