Q.
My baby boy is 2 weeks old. today while doing massage the concerned lady said that it needs to remove the milk from breast bud of baby. She said it is hard and ideally the milk from bud needs to be removed by pressing it. Is it okay to press the breast bud and remove milk? Also is it normal to have some hardness below breast of baby?

it can lead to mastitis, very painful condition
Mother's milk is complete food for the baby . The initial portion is watery that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is creamy and rich in facts will provide then necessary nutrition. So there is no need to give even water . Try to exclusively breastfeed the baby for first 6 months after birth.
