Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it appears to be allergic cough/cold ( most commonly seen in children less than 6 years of age).
usually they are not associated with fever and the cough and cold can continue for many weeks.
they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning.
also they may be food allergy ,cold allergy and allergy to dust, smoke, pollens also.
requires examination and start anti allergic medicines.
meet dr.
there is a possibility of starting anti aldlergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.
when allergixes are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. If your child is always suffering with cold and cough that means your child is having some kind of an energy you need to treat your child for an allergy and if your child is not going to be eating properly the child is not going to have proper growth with it’s important to start treat treating the child for allergy and then only probably the appetite would be better and the growth is going to be good also start with Iron and multivitamin supplement
