my baby boy is 12 week old. his birth weight was 2.89kgs and now he is 6.6kgs. he is exclusively breastfed. is his weight more than normal? should I be worried?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. weight should double the birth weight by 5 month of age so don't worry about it Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

By three months the weight should be anywhere between 5-8 kgs.
so no need to worry. Ur baby is not overweight..
The weight of your baby is pretty good.
exclusive breast feed ur baby till six months
