Q.

My baby boy is 1 month old and he is still not latching. Currently I am using breast pump to give him milk and also top it up with Adolact powder milk. Any suggestions on how to make my baby latch. I have tried syringe technique and keep trying with baby 4-5 times a day. He holds the nipple but doesn't latch properly, so unable to drink the milk directly. Please Guide.

A. hi check for flat nipple problem it might happen because of it try feeding with different feeding positions keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding offer Feeds when your child is hungry or wake up from sleep maintain skin to skin Contact while feeding your child which definitely help to encourage your child to take direct breastfeeding
