Q.
My baby boy has white patches on face. Is it normal ? I see a slight difference between his actual skin color and that whitish patches ( near his lips and cheek?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then youd have to meet the doctor for evaluation.
some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergyd, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. In a lot of cases it could be due to deficiency of calcium and sometimes due to some fungal infection or dryness supply good cream or moisturiser still if you see the situation is the same thing in that case connect with your doctor for further assistance
