Q.

My baby boy got his 1st varicella vaccine when he was 12 months and now my baby is 18 months and again my doctor is telling me to go for 2nd dose but in chart it’s scheduled at the age of 4-6 years...what should I do..should I go for 2nd dose or I should wait as per immunisation chart....

A. hi your baby is 18 months old now varicella vaccine has 2 doses to be given 6 months apart so if first dose was at 12 months second dose shall be at 18 months

Hello ma’am Just check the vaccination tracker on the First Cry app you will get a fair idea accordingly and also would advise you to take a second opinion from another paediatrician to be more about this if the doctor also says the same thing then you go ahead with this vaccination otherwise wait for it
