My baby bis 6 weeks old . His birth weight was 3.1 kg and now be is 4 kg . Is the weight gain normal? How much weight a baby should gain per week for healthy development?

A. Hello my dear parent! There should be an average weight gain of 400 to 500 g per month in the first few months after birth. Your baby is doing well. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration, and weight gain.
