Q.

my baby birth weight is 2.77 , at discharge from NICU his weight is 2.46 he stayed 7 days their after birth. now he is around 2 month his weight is 4.3 now. is it ok?

A. get treatment. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide yousee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her

A. it is okay the weight gain baby should be double the birth weight at completing 4-6 months and three times the birth weight at completing one year it is exclusively breast feed recommended for six months
