POOJA KOTHARIExpecting Mom due this month3 months agoA. It’s completely normal for a 2-month-old baby to become cranky and want to be held, even when they’re not hungry or wet. At this age, babies crave warmth, comfort, and closeness, especially during growth spurts or when they feel overstimulated or tired. Your baby may just want to feel safe in your arms, as this soothes them emotionally. Sometimes, gas or mild discomfort can also cause crankiness, even if it's not very obvious. Holding, rocking, swaddling, or gentle white noise can help calm them. If the crankiness is frequent or intense, and nothing soothes him, it’s a good idea to talk to your pediatrician to rule out colic or any hidden discomfort.
