Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. many times keeping tongue outside is very common in children. it is not commonly associated with any major disease condition.
sometimes it might be associated with some syndrome and disease condition in which condition a periodic examination will be required along cwith some investigation.
if the growth and development of the child is within normal limits for age then it is very less likely that the child is having any disease condition even if the child keeps the the vtongue outside the oral cavity
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Babies stick out their tongues for many reasons, such as to signal hunger, fullness, or dislike of a certain food. Babies over 6 months of age may stick out their tongue intentionally as a means of imitating or communicating with their parent or caregiver. However, often there is no clear cause.
