Q.

my baby Ahir is 7 months, he is having fever 100.3°f...tomorrow he has Menactra vaccine.. can I give dis to him the vaccine?

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can fgive paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over fthe injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. hi avoid Vaccination keep measuring the temperature if it remains same or persist for more than 3 days then please visit your pediatrician keep your child well hydrated dress your child lightly
