Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk dor formula milk.
initially you can start wgith one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

wait ,first let your child complete 6 months age.
after that ,you can start with food like mung dal Pani, rice starch which is easy to digest.
then gradually start feeding food like khichdi, porridge, sheera, rab etc
