Q.

My baby 4 year old had fever for the last 8 days, should I go for covid 19 rtpcr test ? And it is safe for small kids?

A. definitely..u nay..my kid 4.5 yr old tested positive 15 days ago. covid us on rise Omicron variant is likely to be more infective and spread easily. Its symptoms are cough fatigue runny nose congestion. Children show predominantly upper respiratory tract infection likr fever, runny nose, throat pain, body ache , dry cough. It is recommended to wear a mask regardless of the vaccination status and maintain social distancing. use of sanitizer is recommended .

A. Yes it is completely safe to get a Covid test done but he is having fever for eight days is definitely not a good sign so I believe you should get a blood test done for your child to know why your child is having fever for such long timeWrite Your Answer Here
