Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associatefd symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatmfent accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

You Can give indirect steam to the child that’s a very good thing to be done at this age apart from that the medications can properly be provided by your doctor only because your child is only 15 days old so don’t give anything without consulting your doctor to the child
