A. If your 13-month-old baby has lost weight and is reluctant to eat, focus on offering nutrient-dense, easy-to-eat foods like mashed bananas, avocado, full-fat yogurt, cooked potatoes, and well-cooked dals or lentils. Include healthy fats such as ghee or olive oil in her meals to boost calories. Frequent small meals and snacks are better than large meals. Encourage a calm, positive feeding environment and continue breastfeeding if possible. If weight loss continues, consult a pediatrician to check for any health issues and get personalized guidance.
