My 7months old baby does not eat food properly he refuses all kind of khichdi I make for him and only likes to eat fruits like banana and apple. Does it will effect his weight and when he will start eating solids properly.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 weeks agoA. dear mum, your baby has just started having top feed, so it will take some time for baby to get used to it. you can feed whatever baby likes and gradually introduce other food items.

Initially the weight can fluctuate a little bit sometimes it uses also because kids don’t eat enough amount of food as we expect so it is completely normal the weight gain is there sometimes it becomes a little stagnant for a while weight loss can also be seen in a case not much of it
