Q.

my 7 th old was due for vaccination on 17th of aug, due to some emergency we are out of station n will be going back only on 27th. Can I delay the vaccination for 10days. vaccination are - vaxiflu4 and typbar tcv.

A. yes there should not be a problem if you postpone it for maximum one month but after that it is not advisable because the child become susceptible to the vaccine preventable disease. try to get a vaccination as early as possible for first one year to 2 year of age. except one or two vaccines almost all vaccine can be given at any age and the advxantage of the vaccine starts when it is given to the child. meet your doctor who will tell you which vaccines can be given at this age as well as whether any booster dosage is required or not.

A. hi. parent no there is not any emergency as such so it can be delayed to some extent please get her immunized /vaccinated as soon as you return don't worry or dont rush.but you may get her vaccinated little later like fifteen days or months don't worry keep her well hydrated
