Q.

My 6months old daughter has cold. As per doctor consultation I am giving Maxtra drops to her. This week vaccine need to be given for my daughter. Can give vaccine now or need to wait until cold reduced?

A. definitely you can go for vaccination simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination If still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination
