Q.
My 6 yrs old daughter she was suffering from throat infection.After consulting a pediatrician i started giving antibiotic and fever reducing medicine as she was having high fever. My concern is that still she is having temperature and not having her food properly. It's already been 7days and still the fever is high. Why?

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. in that case you must consult the pediatrician 9nce again and let him know. because ideally after giving antibiotics fever shoukd come down because the related infection should have reduced wirh antibiotics. otherwuse it means that the infection is still there dye to which fever is not reducing. may be doctor will give other medicine or antibiotics. please consult your doctor.
