my 6 year old got his eye tested and we found -4.5 myopia. is it worrisome and measures should I be taking to reduce it

LakshmanFather of a 9 yr 3 m old boy9 months agoA. hello madam, my son also has myopia,at the age of 5 years he was diagnosed with myopia -3.75 ,now he is 8 years old with regular doctor checkups(every 6 months)and regular (every 6 months)change of glasses his myopia reduced to - 3, please take appointment with pediatric opthalmologist,he will prescribe you correct treatment according to your kid condition, don't worry your kid will recover soon,now a days many children are facing this issue.
