Q.

My 6 months old daughter weighs 5.1 kg. Her birth weight was 3.304kg. Her height, head circumference are normal and she is also quite active. She was on exclusive breastfeed since 6 months. Please let me know the reason of her being underweight.

A. hi no your baby is gaining enough weight. no need to worry. just offer plenty of breastfeeds. feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well which help to increase your child weight. give massage to your child daily
