Q.
my 5 year old son was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis.He has been having ichy dry skin for a while but the itching has increased a lot recently along with darkening and thickening of skin mainly on his legs and elbow....was using cetaphil lotion till now.... it doesn't seem to help at all with his dry skin now... itching increase s at night.... while sleeping....what can i do to reduce the itching

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi as a child is feeling severe itching it is better to consult your pediatrician you can try cool pack on itchy part avoid using any cosmetics apply thin layer of coconut oil on itchy or dry skin which will help to cure this
