Q.

My 5 month old has white patches the corners of the eyes - what is the possible cause? Some deficiency/sleeplessness or somethign else...

A. white spots in the inner corner of the eye is very normal variation. this is time limiting hypopigmentation and goes away with increasing age of the child without any type of treatment being given. you have to continue the regular diet ocf the child. if the hypo pigmentation patches increasing in size as well as the intensity of the whiteness is increasing then only you have to meet the doctor

A. hi mostly it happens because of nutritional deficiencies, Fungal Infection or other kind of skin problem so please visit your pediatrician. give plenty of breastfeeds. as you are nursing mother, take Healthy and nutritious diet so that your child can get all essential nutrients in adequate quantities too give sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day which is best for Vitamin D formation.
