Q.

my 4yrs and 2 months daughter has his flu booster vaccine pending from 2 months. actually she had fever and cough. my mother in law says she is getting sick and weak due to these vaccination as private doctors have monthly schedule of vaccination. my daughter has monthly vaccination from the day first till now( 4yrs of age). you please help me do these monthly injection really needed or not

A. Vaccination for children can be considered in the current situation as the cases of covid are less to some extent . In such condition most importa itnt Vaccination should be given on priority which your doctor will decide. Influenza vaccine should be given to children above 6 months of age in this season if not given to avoid unnecessary hospitalisation and other risk factors because of flu infection
