Q.
my 48days baby has nose congestion during nights. I am giving nasal saline spray to him but still it's not that effective, he s crying alot, what to do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In frc viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

Dry roast garlic and ajwain seeds.
when the aroma starts coming, then switch off the flame. Wrap this in a muslin cloth and keep by the head side of the baby.
When inhaled by the baby, this will help to open the blocked nose
