My 4 yr old kid is having tooth ache in pre molar...doc is suggesting to extract it and put space maintainer as it will come by 8 years age. is it normal and how kids do with space maintainers..??

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. if the tooth cannot be root canal treated it is better to get it extracted and place a space maintainer prefer the one with the crown so that the child can chew with that

NikithaMom of a 11 yr old boy4 years agoA. hello pain then this can be even due to infection and it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too and paediatric dentist can advise you accordingly
