I used to visit Doctor and doctor given medicine for fever, zinc and for gas. I used it still she not doing her potty so what should I do. She is doing all normally except potty.

My 4 months old daughter donot do her motion. Since last Thursday I use to feeding her my breast milk only. I used to visit Doctor and doctor given medicine for fever, zinc and for gas. I used it still she not doing her potty so what should I do. She is doing all normally except potty.

A. Constipation is quite a common problem in children for which diet modification is important like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, water melon and seasonal vegetables will also help , can give daliya or oatsmeal also .give more liquids. giving excess of milk may cause constipation too.also avoid banana which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol may be of good help,but give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed.hrcd
