Q.

My 4 month old is not hungry... He will have brestmilk for 3 mins then turns around his head... Like he is more attentive to surroundings... If he doesn't drink, will he loose weight ? Or is he getting enough milk in this 3-5 mins?? How can i prevent him from turning around???

A. It It’s likely that the baby is either cluster feeding where they feed frequently but they feed only for very little time. Sometimes it could be comfort feeding. Sometimes the tummy is getting full in the three minute itself. You have to keep in mind that if the babies hungry no matter what they will feed. So don’t worry about itWrite Your Answer Here

A. hi..this is quite normal. the intensity of coming out of mother milk is much more than the one of bottle feed, so it can easily fill up babay's tummy in small amt of time. And it is also very nrml fr babies at this age to get distractions because they are getting use to the things and surroundings. If this continues for another few months, contcat ur doc

A. If your baby has been breastfeeding well for several months but then becomes a fussy baby at four months (or five or six or older!) ... Around this age is a common time for babies to refuse some breastfeeds and become easily distracted with noises, activities, new surroundings and siblings—particularly during the day time.
