Q.
My 4 month old baby not doing poop daily from last 3 weeks. I use suppository after every 3 days.is it safe to use regularly? Is there any other health issues?which medicine I used for that ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also vvwhen initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzymxe preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in mediccal supervision .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Constipation is completely normal in this age you do not have to go ahead with giving any medication to the child if the child is not showing any sign of discomfort for 7 to 10 days it’s a completely normal thing
