Q.
My 4 month old baby is having pale white colored patches under her eyes. She is born prematurely at 34 weeks. Is this common?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then youz have to meet the doctor for evaluation.
some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, azllergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hello this would require a proper medical investigation and it is better to check with your doctor and he will be able to guide u accordingly which should be better and also safe too and based on the condition he can advise you accordingly which is safe too
