my 3m old daughter used togo to urine 20 in a day.now.reduced to 8.or.10

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. that is within normal limits so no need to worry urinary pattern in small children is totally different. they may pass more than 20 times per day urine also and sometimes they will pass urine again and again in only one hour. the minimum requirement would be more than 7 times in 24 hours. if it is less give more breast feeding or milk and if it is more no need to worry if the child is not having any other complaint

Hello That’s completely fine a child is completely on liquid so that I can pass urine about 15 to 17 times in a day that’s normal so why do you want to reduce it down it’s a good sign that your child is very well hydrated so please don’t try to reduce it down because it is beyond your control
