Q.

My 3 years old baby is having fever from the past 4 days. he's taking P125 3ml. from the 4th day fever itself taking Amoxyllin 5ml. other than fever baby is active. is there any tests i have to do?

A. hello sir, my baby is having fever since 7 days. his intake is good and he is active also. But he's having fever if he doesn't take medicines, for that every 6 hours I'm giving Combiflam suspension. how many days does the fever can exist at the max?

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the wjuhole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
