Q.

my 3 month old baby wakes up every two hours for feeding. someone suggested introducing top feed so that she sleeps n grows well. what to do?

A. you need to burp your baby well after each feed so that baby takes tummy full feeding at once. During first two months you should maintain a gap of two hours between two feedings. But after completing two months it is advisable to feed your baby only on demand and do not give any forceful feeding on particular timings The feeding should be done atleast 10 minutes.

A. Hello dear parent! Top feed is not required if you are able to breastfeed your baby well on demand. Waking up in the night for every two hours is a normal thing at this age. Nothing to worry. Baby’s feeding and sleeping pattern keeps changing the first few months. Consult your doctor for further advice. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy
