my 3.5 months breastfeeding baby not pooping for 7 days wt precautions can I take

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
no intervention is done before 10 days

Constipation is common in breast feed babies. Babies can go without poop for 5-6 days altogether and even for 10 days also.
If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise then no need to worry.
Do cycling exercise of legs and lift the legs and gently press across the tummy for bowel movement
