Q.

My 2nd baby is now 1 month old, she's on exclusive breastfeeding, but she's not gaining adequate weight n she's having abdominal colic which is not relieved with medication. what should I do?

A. Hi not to worry. It's very common in infants. for newbies is common to shed some weight after birth and it applies to almost all babies. They burn calories for crying, having milk, breathing etc..it's quite normal.. They shed around 10-15% of birth weight in first two to three weeks and will slowly regain their weight within a month or two.
